At our Chapter meeting on 2/3/2010 at Jordan Hospital, Drew Harding led a lively and interactive discussion on " Is the Rawhide Approach (Head 'em up, move 'em out) an effective strategy to manage ED flow?". We discussed a variety of strategies within the ED that have been effective, as well as those tried with less success. Most importantly, we discussed the kind of cooperative effort required, throughout the spectrum of care, so that improved throughput strategies can succeed while enhancing patient and family satisfaction.

We are looking forward to a very productive year and welcome all of our Chapter members, new and seasoned, to attend. Take the opportunity to connect with others who are having similar professional experiences and take advantage of the opportunity to meet with and learn from our fellow Mayflower Chapter members who possess a unique depth of experience professionally, as well as with the ENA organization on a local, State and National level!
